It did not make a huge difference, not by any means as huge as installing the RB carb. Thanks again, Ron!
By "difference" on the bottom, it seemed that it got the engine into the powerband slightly quicker and had an even better throttle response. The hit came a little sooner with both the CEK and the DEK needle. DEK still being smoother than the CEK, all clip 4. 40/155
I am running the Boyesen 607 reeds as well. Can't say that it makes any more power by numbers, it just felt a little snappier. I have found the SSS with the air screw before and after this mod.
I can say for sure that I am not the machinist Ron is, as he firsthand saw some of my peanut grinding
