potential of a kdx 250?

does it have good potential, like the 200/220's?
i can buy a 91 250 w/inverted forks for 700$
just a thought.

What's that version's engine like? How does it behave when compared with the KX 250 or the KDX 220 (or the KDX 200, for that matter)?

Im kinda new to it again, but i bought a 91 250 this year for $1100. 00. This bike was in great shape. Havent had alot of riding time yet, because i bought it in oct. i think. I use to race a cr 250 about 12 years ago, and that was the last i rode. Im 31 now, an to be honest, its gonna take a little getten use to. That said, so far this bike has been impressive. Very good low to mid torque, and pretty fast top end. Handles great, and isnt too heavy. If its in good shape, i would get it. You see what i paid for mine, but it was in great shape!! Let me know if you do.

I have a friend who rides a kdx250, they are much closer to a kx250 than a 200/220, power-wise. Good bikes.
