rear shock problem.

Post by kdxquebec »

My 89-94 200 rear shock oil/gas/seal assembly was replaced on july 15 2006.

I noticed on my last rides (s) that the seal is leaking again  I think this is not normal. Bad job? Worn shock?

The shaft seem to be nice with a good chrome quality,I mean no scratch...

I see on ebay a lot of 95-200? shock. Will they fit? bolt on? I think so...

Thanks A lot.

Phil - No dice on the 95+ shocks. The remote reservoir is placed to high on them. Sound like the seal might have been installed improperly or the shaft is worn in that area. Your going to have to tear it down to find out though.
