A $130 self-contained, waterproof, shock-resistant helmet cam - you can't beat that. Other's go for $160 and up and you still have to have a recording device.

Nice find!!

That looks cool but knowing me I would break it on my first ride or I would have it turned off for anything exciting that happens. At this point I dont think anything recorded by me would be interesting to anyone, unless its the video of me crashing and breaking the camera! :P

Back when I had a helmet cam, I mounted it under the helmet bill. By heating the bill up with a heat gun, I shaped the plastic to form around the camera body. This allowed me to use the bill as an aiming device as well for tilt. pan was adjusted by moving my head. Ha!!

I experimented with mounting my camera on the side of the helmet. This also offers more protection that right on the very top. Of course, there's nothing that says it has to be mounted to the helmet at all. Experiment and be creative. On the chest protector, for example, or a neck roll if you wear one of those.

Youtube is a great place to host the videos you take. I've viewed plenty of enduro videos there.

The sample video is lousy! They could have come up with something better than that!!

Interesting though and I want to see what is available right before spring.... I have the same setup as KDXer right now but more compact is the ticket if the quality is as good or better with more storage space....

Thought the vid was pretty cool.

Splashing water looked really cool and water droplets nice and clear, sound kinda sucked though

I thought the video was good quality - the sound did not seem bad to me either: considering it was a taking place in a fiberglass/plastic type water trough with reverberations, etc.

This is the first time I have considered buying one - price is right and self-contained. I may have to save this for my Christmas list!!

Thats a pretty nice setup. I didn't see in the manual where it lists how much time the batteries will last though. A 2GB chip will get you 60min @ 640x480x30fps. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

Thank You!
I took a quick look at the site and didn't see any recording storage time.

I'm sure there's better deals out there but Crucial.com has a 2gb SD for $36

Not all SD cards are the same speed..........I think.

Don't buy on price alone. Get one that works!!

Will it do 320x240 for 120 minutes?

Looks like
640x480 60 minutes at 30fps, 96 m at 15 fps
320x240 114 minutes at 30fps, 230 m at 15fps

The more I look at it... the better I like it.

All-in-one has it's advantages.....
