I was reading on Thumpertalk that some people are running YZ80 mini bars in a high bend instead of CR-HIs because they are alreay cut to a woods width. Anyone run them on a KDX?

That'd work... save some labor but you have to account for your barkbusters and sometimes the shorter bars won't fit them very well and a custom cut is needed.

I don't run those exact bars you mention but I do run a variation of 'Mini' bar. I have Tag T2 Mini's. After researching almost every bar make and bend I settled on those being the highest bend I could find. Sorry but here's the best picture I can find ATM. From memory they are around 28 inches stock, around 30 with barkbusters fitted.

Any problems with fitting barkbusters?

Nope.... But my Bark busters have alot of room for adjustment also.

Now I just need to have a fight with myself over whether to migrate over to fatbars or not. The extra cost is not really worth it, but they are cool!

They are tougher to bend IMO.

Well I bought some bar adapters from Pit Posse for $30 shipped and some Moose Flex series 1 1/8" Mini bend handlebars for $65. I will let you know how they work, the combo is going to be much higher than what I have now.
