Brake Lights... Brake activator switch.

Post by mandofiddle »

Hey folks,
I'm in the process of street legalizing my KDX. I got the UFO rear fender (that has the two way light) and got the Moose lighting coil from Fredette installed last night. Not much left to do since I'm in Colorado and the laws are pretty lax. I do need to get the brake activator switch though, and am wondering where I can order one from. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Dave

HYDRAULIC BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH Replaces the banjo bolt on your brake line. Works off of hydraulic pressure.

10mm x1.25 Most Japanese Bikes $18.95

Got one on mine.. works flawlessly.

They also have Fredette's resistor switch (junk) $29.95

and a pull switch cheapy... they work... had one on my 85 Honda XL350 for $7.95

Choice is yours.... Good luck!

Steahly also has the switches. You probably need a horn and mirror also. IMO get a good fold-down mirror that is actually useful on the road, not one of those cheap jobs that vibrate so bad you can't see what's behind you.
