Anyone ever dismantle/fix a seemingly defetive odometer? I got one that looks to be in good shape, the square drive turns, you can pull out the rubber knob and reset it to any spacific milage but the thing wont work when the knob is pushed back in for regular opperation. I build a little 3 mm squard drive for my drill to ensure it wasn't my cable....it still doesn't work. Any suggustions would be appreshiated.

make sure you r turning it the correct direction. I beleive nothing happens if you go the wrong way. I have a couple on the shelf in my shop if yours is shot and you want a new one. let me know.

Search found 70 results for 'odometer' and I think this is the closest post to any fix or diagnosis for an odometer that isn't working. I've got the same problem as KDX Kuhn

The least you are going to have to do is tear it apart... I would start there is you think your cable and drive unit is good.
