Ever try 3M Weatherstripping Adhesive?
I've never had a grip slip with it, over 35,000 miles so far on 3 bikes

3M weatherstripping ahesive is like gorilla snot.
Well, it IS gorilla snot.
Some adhesives work better than others. Most don't do so good. Find one that suits and keep using it.
I wouldn't want to be locked into a particular grip. I like the gel palm type..and they come in purdy colors.

I'd hate trying to get a grip on a bar wrapped with double sided tape.
Wibby knows that. He's just being...well...Wibby!

I was kidding ....some. I did assume 'double stick' to be a tape with adhesive on both sides. I guess it could apply to tape you stuck, unstuck, then stuck again. Wouldn't that be 'double stick'?
A btw...isn't every tape double sided? I mean...how do you have one side of anything? Whatever it is....turn it over...and there's the other side!!
I don't remember the name on the bottle I got last..but it's a fairly large bottle (3oz. maybe). Nothing like the little vial type things you buy that are good for one set of grips. I've never found that to be any good. Anyway, this last bottle works pretty good...that meaning the grips aren't LOOSE, but they do 'twist' over time. They move.

I wonder if the people that have problems with the grips slipping use steering dampers. I just use Honda grip glue, which is suspiciously like rubber cement, and never have a problem. I also keep a light grip on the bars cuz of my ludicrously expensive Scotts stabilator.

I use scott's grip glue and safety wire. I never have any issues with the throttle tube side...but even with the Scott's damper, the left side would twist. At least until I started using the Scott's grip glue. The issue out here is heat. Well, and the rocks. Hard to be light on the grips running over bowling balls. But, the heat really makes the grips soft. I've noticed that different grips also behave differently. Some are easy to keep from moving...others are darn near impossible.Yeah...that's funny because I don't use anything on my grips and they stay put... 'course I have the Scotts too.
