cylinder head studs Q

Post by TopperHarley »

I just took the stock head off of my 02 220 to put on an RB head. the studs were kind of nasty so I took all of them out cleaned them up and chased all the threads on the cylinder, on the studs themselves and the nuts. My question is, should I put anything on the threads before I put them back in the cylinder, like some mild lock-tite, or will that make them impossible to get out without bringing the female threads with them?
If you run into Heidi, have her look me up in her little black book and give me a call.
Im feelin a little wild today.
