Yes, they help alot... especially with a properly jetted carb and a pipe.

Boyesen 607's is what is in my brothers bike and she runs real real good!

Saxaphone reeds I believe!

I had DFII's in mine when I had it... worked real well. I'm sure DFII's DFIII's or 607's would all be an improvement.

Having just done a comparions of the Boyesens vs the V-Force IIIs, I'd say the VFIII has a slight edge on the Boyz.

Might be a silly question but. do these setups come with the whole cage assembly? or can you just change the reeds?

I have a set of just the reeds spawn.

I haven't installed them yet as my bike runs pretty good and I feared messing with the jetting. I just have open air box and FMF pipe/silencer with stock jetting.

As it's 7 degrees out right now, I may just find time to put them in to keep PMS (Parked Motorcyle Syndrome) away. The street bikes need maintainence as well.

Boyesen reeds work with your stock cage, VFII and III replace the stock cage

The power reeds will be a noticeable and very nice addition to your bike.

I did not re-jet when I swapped from the Boyesens to the VFIII, and I don't think that QuailChaser re-jetted when he went from stock to the Boyesens.

Would it mean anything if I included positive plug-chop results?

Any suggestions for the best reed/jetting setup for an 86 200 with a stock pipe & carb?
