Clean your bars with some naptha, rough the bars up with some course sandpaper and get some proper grip glue. Also, try loosening your hold on the grips... I have never had that issue in the 25 years I have been riding....

Remove the old grip

clean all of the glue/ rubber etc off with CARB cleaner

clean the inside of the new grip with CARB cleaner

get spray can hairspray, spray just enough to allow you to slide the grip on all the way

let it set up for a few hours

wrap three ties of safety wire around the grip, twist, cut, then hammer the ends into the grip

It ain't gonna go nowhere!!!!

I use gray primer spray paint to paint inside the grip, then slide the grip on and let it sit for a couple of hours.

'..ain't gonna go nowhere!'

Well, until it does.

IF you have trouble with a particular method, try another. Hair spray, paint, glue, gorilla snot, tape, wired out the wa-zoo...most of them work ok ...usually. You still may get something loose once in awhile.

'Spearmint with it. All of the above work well most of the time.

Likely 'loosen your grip' is the best advice of the whole thread.

Golf club grip tape and activator..the only way

cyclenutz nailed it.

Goff club grip tape is double sided. The activator is really just acetone. you wrap the grip tape on the bar, peel off the paper part, pour a bit of acetone in the grip and hold your hand over the hole and shake, then dump it over the tape on the bar, slide the grip on and let it dry. When I make golf clubs I let it dry overnight.
