Lowering links in the rear and drop the forks in the trees to match.

Re: 'best shop'

Your question indicates you want to properly lower the suspension via internal shock work. Is that correct?

Or, do you simply want to make it lower?

This beer holder says, 'Raise the forks in the trees', buy you know what he meant, right?

I still have a pair of 117mm lowering links, free to a good home, just need to pay the postage from the UK.

I've had work done a few times @ Wilkey's (MX-Tech). If they didn't get it right the first time, at least they were happy and good about keeping after it until the job was done to my satisfaction.

Jeremy is a good sort, I think he runs a good shop.

I agree with the 'correct' idea. I think (consider the source) that 1 1/2" is too far to lower using links..and I don't think you're going to get that out of your forks/clamps.

'Ya!! The CRF250 is tall, 'eh??

Simple, Cut & Shape 4 X 4's to the bottom of your boots & Screw in.
Only kidding, could not pass it up

But really, try cutting down the foam in your seat

I agree with green hornet, the 4x4 seems like the simplest idea
The foam seat would be the next best thing (easy and fairly cheap).
I'm 5'7", 29 inch inseam and I have no trouble with my 05. :hmm:
Is there a difference between the 03 and 05 model?
