Re: What's the T..

Maybe it fell outt'a the box....

What direction is your master link clip clipped?

Gets a little (read: a LOT) pixelly made big enough to see, but it don't look right to me.

Frame looks nice black. You said painted? Epoxy? How did you prep it?

Nice!

I had it sandblasted and the same company used pittthane 2 part epoxy paint, $150 for all. It came with that tee I am not sure what that is for never really paid to much attention to it thanks for pointing it out

HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK I COULD GET IT I SOLD IT ??? don't want to just kind of nice to know ya know

Maybe $5 more than if you hadn't painted it.

Having maintenance records is FAR more important than having painted the frame.

Besides that..look at all the stuff that has to be fixed to ride the thing in the woods..where you RIDE a KDX.

Did it 'come with' the master link clip on backwards too?

skid plate, bar guards, headlight, proper-side-down forks, outrageously expensive steer moisturizer (or is it dampener), pipe guard, tool bag,, frame guards to protect the spendy paint from your boots, or optionally, matching boot paint job.. it just goes on.

<edit> Oh, and I more than almost forgot,, shop charge to turn the master clip  , return trip to shop for forgetting to put the link plate on when they turned the clip, Calm-down drinks after arguing with retard service manager that claims the bike came in that way. nuther return trip to shop cuz you forgot wife came with you the second time and was looking at the cute little tyke mx outfits and dreaming of having another kid, when you left her without saying a word like a self-absorbed bastid.

Skid plate I can see I don't ride at night, so F*** the ugle headlight, the rest is just for Extreme long trails, I don't need the rest I am young !!!

That's seems to be a pretty good deal.
How does it run?
What kinda compression are you getting out of it?
Did you grease the snot out of it since you had it down to the frame?
How did the bearings look?

At least get some barkbusters, a skid plate and a pipe guard.

It starts on the first kick 95% of the time, has good compression. and yes there is plenty of grease on the bearings they looked fine.

I don't need the rest I am young !!!
..which is of course the main problem.

Well, that and not listening to people that know better.

At the risk of being snotty, please rationally consider: There are things (probably most of them) on your bike that you have no CLUE as to why they are there, what they do. Consider that at some point one of these things is going to break, come off or malfunction. Having the aforesaid lack of clue, you won't be fixing it. I would guess that your toolkit consists of exactly what fits so handily on your 'cool' back fender..nada.

OK..that puts you out who-knows-where. Just about the same time (on relatively consecutive days) every day the same thing happens. It gets dark. Here's some (more) advice you can ignore..it's a real PITA riding single track in the dark. Well, if by some stroke of luck/chance you get it running again.

BUT...if you're one of the many that think riding consists of a whopping 10-15 mile distance of going around a fixed locus, you are indeed all set. Maybe 'extreme long' is 11-16 miles.........

Nice kickstand! Now there's a handy item!!

But, you know what? It's your bike..and you can outfit it and ride it as you like!

Cheers!
