Beeds, You done well in my book, Canycar is just jealous and ignorant to HIS OWN snotty-ness, 800 dollars is a HUGE score considering the bike looks primo. Looks like it was MXed out, (no lights kickstand) but thats no biggie, everyone knows that the Stock lights couldnt light up a white room, they suck ass.

If your like the rest of the old fogies on this site, then you WILL need all that protective mumbo jumbo, cuz like them, You PLAN to hit things and fall and screw up, hurt yourself (and your beautiful bike), all on the SUPER HARD< TRICKY AND ROUGH HELLISH TRAILS that THEY ride

but if your like me, young, agile, flexable, drink lots of milk, have healthy bones and are confidant, then you can get by just fine. besides, if your a new to this GREAT sport, and your ride to YOUR bikes purpose, you will be in a light practice MX track, and basic moderate, recreasional trails.

You probably have a life, so going for a quick boot in the woord in the morining or late noon for a few hrs wont require a light anyhow. Not a BIG LONG TREK for ever like these seasoned veterans eh?

we young pups must stick together, your bike is primo, look into some guards, (brush, pipe) Sid Plates are not big, I go AROUND big obstacles, and if i cant i go over them SLOWLY watching where i go, not fast like a raving lunatic. the bike seems to be a good GENERAL PURPOSE bike, just get the mechanical stuff fixed and your fine.

ROCK ON!!! RIDE ON!!! Cowboys from hell man!!!
Live to Ride, Ride to live!!!

You have ALOT to learn 'young pup' and by the sounds of it you will learn alot of it the hard way.

An old wise man once told me 'Everyone likes a little ass but no-one likes a smartass.

beeds3000, Do yourself a favour and protect your bike like already mentioned and more importantly yourself.

ya, and the headlight thing... not only are they for riding in the dark, but it helps for people to see you a bit easyer and it will (unless in great sunlight) save you from doing even more damadge to your bike when riding over your head, just because the bike is fast enough for you to do that, from running into people all the time than you will already be doing because you did not listen to us and get the stough that will save yourself a whole lot of trouble.

now, enough of the lecturing and get the frigging parts!!!
