VF3 ?

Post by mikezolin »

Stupid question - does the VF3 valve kit come with a set of reeds? Tucker Rocky catalog states "order one set of reed petals".

That info for reorder maybe?

If you want a set of OEM reeds, you order a 'set'. You get two reeds.

A 'set' of DF3 reeds numbers four reeds.

If you order a VForce3 reed valve, it does indeed come with reeds. All four of 'em.

It does NOT come with the TOOL used to REPLACE the reeds. THAT comes when you order your replacement reeds.

..that a btw for no particular purpose....

Yep. Looking at the Tucker Rocky stuff, they list the valve AND the replacements. The 'one reed petal set per block' means you order (1) item to get all the petals you need to replace the reeds on ONE valve.

Awesome - that's what I thought but didn't wanna send off my $ only to find I needed to order reed petal too in order to get running. Ordered the VF3 today and popping a money order in the mail to RB-Designs for a new air striker (with the air screw and the allen bolts  ).

New top end going in as we speak. Can't hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't ya buy THIS and get it sent straight off to Ron from the seller at the same time. Thats what I did. Well that is if you have a H model 200cc bike as I can't tell what you have. You won't be disappointed.
