Alright, i have a few questions. I am going to be ordering the tusk D-flex handguards for my bike Im guessing in this price range they are the best right? Also if i have pro taper bars do i get the big bar adapter kit? When i looked it said will not work on doulbe layer walls. Do pro taper bars have double layer walls.
And im not ordering a chain yet but when i do, i was gonna go with the x-ring. Would a steel or alumminum sproket be better? thanks

Traditional Pro-Tapers are 1" except where the grips are and there they are 7/8".
So... I don't think your bars are dual wall but I may be mistaken. The bar end mounts should work but would need alternate mounting brackets for the centers. So, yeah.... proly need the mounting kit unless your a good machinist.
I prefer steel but have no issues with aluminum. They both seem to last about the same amount of time if cared for.
I got the best of both worlds... a Z-Sprocket!
