I put the Boyesen reeds in the stock cage for a while. That was the first mod I did along with an FMF woods (-35) pipe and airbox lid drilled. It was definitely better than stock reeds, but now I've got the VForce III and that is WAY better than the Boyesen reeds. Don't get me wrong, though. If you're strapped for cash the Boyesen won't disappoint (at least if you haven't ridden with the VForce yet).

I doubt it but you could check. I remember I put the Boyesen Dual-stage reeds on my 175 back when I got it, and they made a noticeable difference in the low to mid range. it seemed torquier, and had better throttle response.

I've got 607's on my old dust collector (ski gave them to me, thanks Jerry)
They really help the bottom end
Carvr has always mentioned how he liked how it pulled down low (when I'd make him ride my bike up a tough trail)

They are.
re: 'if they do the same deal as VFOCE but a lot cheaper????'
Yes. They do the same 'deal' meaning they manage the air/fuel flow, but they don't do it as well.
Does a 1/2" water pipe do the 'same deal' as a 3" water pipe.
Yes. Well......that depends.
It's the same kind of question.

Then I'd drop it on its head! ..or its fanny.
