Where is the best place to mount an hour meter on a H series KDX using a 6mm bolt?

Hmm, never thought about it and have no clue, honestly. I always have used double sided foam tape.

might try the bolt that holds the CDI unit on, though I've always also used double sided tape and a zip tie

Double side tape for me, left side of the tank deep behind the shroud.

I have a temporary spot on my flex bars held on by zip ties until I find a more permanent spot

I mounted mine with two-side tape(and I use a zip tie for peace of mind) to the Devol radiator guard
