Kdx 220r fresh frp engine issues (ported cylinder rb head and 36mm carb)
So I have put 3 hours on my Kdx and I have began to notice that it’s just not all there in the power department. It feels very flat in the midrange, and doesn’t feel like it’s clearing out well even after being full warmed up. Top and bottom feels ok as far as I can tell, maybe alittle off feeling as well. It’s just not pulling through the midrange with out a dead feeling. Its stuttered on me many times as I begin to hit the power and I have no clue what’s going on. Anyone know what could be going on here?

It sounds like you need to raise the needle clip one position and try again. Mine is currently on the 2nd and if I put it on the 3rd the midrange would be noticeably flatter and would stutter. The stutter that you mentioned is the tell tale rich sign.
