KIPS Air Leak
Hey guys so I had just made a post about my 1998 KDX200 not wanting to idle. Long story short I replaced the carb and it ran fine. Went out the next day and started it up and it revved away to the moon. Immediately killed it and suspected a crank seal leak. Did a leak down and there was some small bubbles from the left side crank seal but on the opposite side where the kips gear comes out of the head there’s a massive leak. I have a picture attached. How do I go about fixing this???

Re: KIPS Air Leak
You'll need to pull apart the KIPS so you can replace the seal. Might as well replace the seal on the other side and service the KIPS since you'll have it apart. Of course, everything needs to come apart if the crank seal is leaking.
