Inversion

Anybody kow why the KDX was not made with Inverted forks from the start, and why the KLX was...? What is the Main difference between the two forks and is it worth the hassel of converting?

KLX is 43mm Inverted vs. Example mine 2001 KX125/250 which are 46mm. Inverted.
Early 90's they made USD KDX for 2yrs.
Whats the reason they don't? Probably too much YEN.......................................

KLX forks have no rebound adjuster just like the KDX so the only advantage I see is no underhang or the bling factor.

I think that's a low speed compression adjuster (on the KDX)....at least in the states.

I'm not sure what you mean by this comment ?? :?

Our aussie KDX's only have compression adjustment too. As far as I know the KLX forks have NO rebound just like the KDX have none.

The conventional forks have more flex than USD forks which can be a good thing in nasty off road conditions. I've seen Scott Summers put conventionals back on his CR450 for some of the rougher GNCC's.
