KDX125 Oil level
Hi,I’ve very recently completed a top end rebuild, haven’t even done the first start up yet,I went to fill up the transmission oil and I have put the right amount of oil in with the bike stood on a centre stand and the oil isn’t showing on the sight glass, even with the bike leaning over to the right the oil still doesn’t show on the sight glass, just wondering if anyone has any ideas why before I start putting more oil in

Odd but no clue why. I would make sure the bike is vertical and give it 30 seconds or so to show in the glass. If it doesn't, keep adding until it does. You sure you put in the correct amount? Most Kawis have the capacity listed near the oil fill.

Re: KDX125 Oil level
Something's not right.
The USA did not get the KDX125, so we are not too familiar with it. I imagine 800 mL would have been plenty. Put it on two wheels and see how it looks, standing up straight.

I’ve done that. Don’t have the problem any longer though. I busted out my sight glass window in a crash and just filled the hole in the cover with JB Weld. Measure the oil you put in and go ride.

Cool. A lot cheaper to be mistaken than something broken.
