Float seat height
Rebuilding my carb and needed a new float seat so i order a new brass one took out the original one with a easy out and i’m just about to install the new one but do not know how far i should press it in , Does anyone have the measurements to the top of the brass float to the lip of where it is pressed in , found picture off internet for reference

Thanks for the reply , maybe someone doing a carb rebuild could do a quick measurement would be really helpful

Should be flush, but doesn’t matter really. You can always adjust the float tab to get the proper level in the bowl.

yea just want to be accurate because in the picture it looks raised a tiny bit but looks can be deceiving
