plastic reed stuffer

hey all, just bought some boyesen 607 reeds and was wondering if I need to leave the plastic stuffer block in or take it out? back in my snowmobile days we were always told to remove them for more HP. just wondering if this stands true in this case. TIA!

I would suggest leaving it in. Did you ride a 200 cc snowmobile? :-)
