IGN Source coil rewind?
Is it possible to rewind my ignition stator coil myself? If so, what gauge magnet wire should I use? One of the screws that hold the stator to the engine case worked itself loose and chewed up the winding. I know you can re-wind the lighting coil but couldnt find anything on anyone re-winding the ign source coil. Thanks in advance!

Re: IGN Source coil rewind?
I moved this over to the general Q & A since it applies to many models.
I don't know the answer, but I am curious.

Re: IGN Source coil rewind?
I looked into this when doing my lighting coil, and couldn’t determine any benefit to doing so.

Re: IGN Source coil rewind?
The source (ignition) coil can be gotten readily from Ricky Stator (https://www.rickystator.com/product/stators/kawasaki) so I personally wouldn't waist the time but that's me. No clue on what wire would be the right size but you could measure what you have and go from there I guess.
