I just wanted to share my last hour's experience with you guys. Last weekend's race was a a mudder in the rain...Not just any mud...It was that sandy mud that gets all in/over everything. I washed the 220 when I unloaded it, but didn't do a very good job. So today, I decided to tear take the plastics, tank and all off and give it a good cleaning. All good until I got done and fired the bike up...Every time I went to rev, it would just bog out...WTH???
After giving the carb a good cleaning, I tried again....Same thing. Then I realized that if I leaned to the left, it would rev fine. What in the heck is going on??? Float level?? Carb off again. Float level is fine. Plug not getting a good connection?? Messed with it a bit and tried it again. Same thing. I then realized that because I hadn't put the seat back on, my a** was sitting right on the snorkel. When I got up, the bike ran fine. When I sat down, started bogging out again. I guess when I leaned to the left, it allowed just enough air flow that it started revving.
Moral of the story, don't sit in front of the snorkel and choke the bike with your a**...
Edit:moral not rumor lol

Not quite sure what to say. Maybe remove the snorkel!

LOL! Never heard that one before. Glad I got rid of that pesky snorkel and lid.
