top end question
hey guys ,i just took apart my top end my piston is in good shape except for carbon on top (cuold be from riding with 9 yr old) the kips valve is pretty clean and working properly should i still take themapart? and yes i'm sending my carb and head out to ron... i'm running a gnarly woods with the turbine2 Q silencer power reeds .with head mod and carb done will that change the bike a lot i ride tight trails in new hampshire... it only took me 1.5 hrs to tear down...

Yes it will change the bike. You will have a wider/more usable power spread. Try a rev pipe on the 220 along with VF3.

I wouldn't bother with it. Guess that would depend on what 'pretty clean' means.
If you can activate the KIPS via the nut under the LH cover easily, and the KIPS returns to its stasis point when you let loose of the nut (return pressure comes from the spring assy in the case. If the cylinder is off, it won't HAVE any spring pressure on it) it's fine.
