Hey everyone I recently joined the group.
I just started riding dirt bikes and I’m hooked!
Anyway I recently purchased a 1990 kdx 200 and it needs a few things. One of them is a rear shock that needs to be rebuilt. Should I do it myself or send it out?

Unless you got the tools and experience I would just send it out. Now, if you want to learn to do it, are willing to invest in the tools you need, and have someplace you can get the nitrogen recharged, I say do it yourself and have a blast!

Re: Rear Shock Rebound 1990
Welcome to kdxrider as well as dirt bikes in general.
Congratulation on getting one and getting hooked.
It is tough to guess your mechanical ability through the old internet. :-) Do you have a vise?
