Kawasaki kdx 125 engine swap

Hi guys does anyone know what engines will fit in a kawasaki kdx 125 frame ? Do the kdx 200, 220, 250 etc share the same frame ? I love the bike handling etc but find it too slow. Would it be easier to unrestricted the 125 than swap the engine ?

The 200 swap into the kdx125 has been done, so it is possible. I'm not sure what all is involved. We had a member here that's done it, but he hasn't been active in some time.

I did find a topic reply here that said the 200 engine will fit with "engine mount and swingarm modifications". Not sure what to take from that, but there it is.

Probably be easier just to sell the 125 and buy a 200 or 220?

Okay thanks guys appreciate the reply’s. There’s not too many kdx 200’s for sale but I guess I’ll keep an eye out if it’s more hassle to fit a 200 engine and have to get a swing arm as well.
