Are Gold Bars Standard?

Hi all just wondering.. My bike has Gold handlebars this may seem like a stupid question are they stock or something could they be renthals or something else? might have to get a pic for ppl to see

Generally speaking;

Aluminium = after market
Steel = stockers

Grab a magnet and check. My guess if they are gold is after market.

They are definately aftermarket. Who makes them? Who knows... there are alot of aftermarket bar companies out there.

Hmm yeah Unsure would love to find out.. its something thats bugged me for a while now..

They look to me like Renthals.


If you are interested I have a top triple clamp that should fit your bike to position your handlebars around an inch further forward. Your 6'2"ish aren't you ?? If so that will help with the cramped ergos / bars in lap situation.

i am wondering if bars are marked at all with model numbers etc will have to pull em off to look

Not stock at all...could be "pro Taper" or eben Renthals, is have seen gold ones afore...and the magnet thing would deinatly let u know if they are stock or not...

My 92 YZ250WR came with a set of O'Neals that looked a lot like that. They broke one day right at the clamp....

dont mind my blindness i found a renthal sticker in the cross member of the bar hiding so looks like they are RENTHALS
