Buying KDX Parts Online

Post by MOOFENKAK »

Looking for recommendations for great places to order online OEM and aftermarket parts for my KDX220. Any places famous for availability, or fast shipping (and ability to track order) or reasonable prices?

Never had a problem with them.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I've used Babbitts and Partzilla. I've used Ebay for used parts with mixed results, and this site's classified section with good results.

Yep, for OEM they're pretty good. I've also used RMATV and Ebay even.

Aftermarket is a pain. A lot of times I've had to go straight through the manufacturer's website, others it's a little RMATV, a little Ebay, and once in a while other places. For the KDX you really gotta dig and search hard sometimes.

Are you wanting price or service?

For a good combo of both, Rocky Mountain.

Remember: The cheapest place is not going to have the best service. The place with the best service is not going to have the cheapest price.

I think it comes down to just finding stuff sometimes regardless of price. Well, for me anyway. I want what I want and I'll pay top dollar if necessary.

With old parts that are NLA, one needs to be fast on the trigger.

I use RMATV, Partzilla, and eBay if I can get a good deal and am confident I am getting what I think I am getting. I recently had a partial (they sometimes send multiple shipments) order with RMATV take about 2 weeks to receive because of the ongoing pandemic. It is what it is.

I make sure I have part numbers correct if ordering on ebay and find prices are always better. Prefer to use the same sellers who have near perfect feedback and fast shipping. RM has everything else I need.
