Hello, good afternoon from NoCal.
I have A KDX200, 2001, is there a difference in Jetting with a FMF pipe Woods vs Desert. I found out I have a desert pipe and may want to change to a woods pipe.
thanks.

Re: Jetting FMF Woods vs Desert
There will be a difference just because the way 2Ts work and you are changing the exhaust pressure wave characteristics, but it's like a very minor change and your existing jetting may be suitable. The only way to know for sure is to change the pipe and run through the jetting checklist.

Re: Jetting FMF Woods vs Desert
thanks, bufftester, i figured it probably would be slight.
I'm going riding with a group from the yamaha-enduro forum in March. They split the ride, first have of the week will be in desert(Johnson Valley), 2nd half Gorman(slower trails).
