pulled apart my shim stack and the top nut and thread just peeled away. took it to the machine shop and he assured me he can fix it but will wait and see. my question is in regard to the rest of the shim stack assembly, the previous owner must have already been in as there was only 8 shims, i removed another 3 as i am so light and everything i do is slow single track. i need to double check everything the previous owner has done as most of it is wrong,\, in the photo of the assembly is it in the right order? the washer with holes in it has the protruding edge facing in towards the fingered basket?
is there anything else i should check before assembly, this is my first time working on a shim stack
