Steering stem diameter???

The KDX clamps are out of the question. In order to make use of them I would have to machine the inner diameter of the fork area to a point that would make them very unsafe. Therefore I "think" the easiest way to get around the actual mounting issue is going to be machining the Suzook stem to fit the inner diameter of the I [/b]do have the the Suzook triple clamp assembly with stem and bearings. I also have the axle.
The forks came from a 98' RM 250 I'm pretty sure they are 49mm units. I chose them because I wanted to stay with conventional forks. I think they would be best for the terrain I usually ride. Plus they don't have nearly as many problems with fork seal leaking.

CC, There is no cross refference for that bearing here in the U.S. It is made only by Koyo corporation. However you can get those same Koyo bearings for about $12 each (upper and lower) from...
