Hi.
I purchased a KDX 200E as a basket case but i cant seem to work out what year the frame is.
It has a 12 didgit frame number instead of the usual vin.
DX200E-025541.
Any ideas?

Yes, it is called a "frame number", not a VIN. It is a 1993.

22501 is the start of 1993.

29001 is the start of 1994.

This is from the Kawasaki Model Identification Guide manual.

I just recieved a work shop manual in the mail that has the frame and vin break down on the back cover.
