Going from 47 to 48 sprocket - do I need to leave an extra l

Going from 47 to 48 sprocket - do I need to leave an extra link on new chain? Stock is 110 I believe.

Check my post on this subject in the DRIVE RATIOS forum on this site.

Short answer, I was able to fit a 48 T rear sprocket with standard 13 T CS sprocket and 108 link chain.
