G'day guys, I did a compression test on my KDX but was unsure what is considered good, mine tested at 120psi, I feel like this is on the low side, I've tried searching for the specs online but came up with nothing. Any ideas?

Check on kawasaki.com under Owner Info and find the owner manual for a USA 1991 - 1994 KDX250 and see if it is listed in there. I am not sure off the top of my head.

Just guessing, that does sound a little low.

Well compression for the 200/220 is 90-150 psi, I would expect the 250 is in the same range. 120 seems a bit low, but certainly rideable. Based on the overall condition of what you started with it would probably not hurt to go through the top end if it's in the budget. If not, ride it.

Thanks for the info guys! A top end job is definitely within budget and I will be doing the job some point soon but main priority at this point is getting it registered first. Thanks again.
