I believe the left side of the bike is where the LOGO should be. Match the OE gage with the VF3

Sorry. I don't follow.
Mine has a logo on both sides..I think?
So it goes in so that the logo is on the side!
**EDIT**
Well....the BANSHEE DF3s have a logo on both sides, the KDX PWK does not. The PWK reed cage has the logo on ONE side. The cage is mounted with that logo to the left...it's visible.
Piece in the middle?
What piece? The air guide?
Why did you take it apart anyway?
You ARE talking about a 3 and not a 2?
Respond please referencing the numbers on the guide?
Thanks.
**edit**
Never mind...I'll just answer the question. I was hoping to find out something else from you, but it's not pertinent.
It's the same as the OEM valve. That is to say, there IS an upside down and a right side up.
Take your OEM valve and hold it up to the carb boot. Notice how one way you see a lot of white in the way and the other way you don't?
Same same on the DF.
The numbers on the airguide go 'up', AND if you hold the intake boot up to the valve (before you put it in) you can easily see which way is the correct way.
I don't know for sure about the logo part..never paid that much attention. THAT namely 'cuz it doesn't matter. It's the airguide orientation that matters. The reed cage itself is bilateral/symmetrical.
Don't know why the instructions say nothing about that..but they don't.
If you have any further question, please ask before you put it on.
Also like the OEM unit...if it's backwards it's not going to work very well. It will still work, I mean it's not like your bike won't start or something...but the bottom end is going to stink!!
...whether you run toluene or not..it'll still stink! (thassa joke, son).

Installed the VF3 over the weekend and it has a very noticable PULL from low/mid to mid/high( constant/wider power spread), as well as a crisp response compared to the Stock Reed Cage w/Boyseen Power Reeds. The power reeds were good, but looking at the thickness of the VF3 block, it gives the appearance of a Torque Spacer (well to me at least).
