Crankcase seals/bearings part numbers

Post by kdxdazz »

Going to pull the engine out this week and split the cases. Is anybody able to tell me the part numbers for crankcase seals and bearings please. I will go direct to a bearing shop that stocks quality koyo bearings. My bike is 1997 kdx220. Never split cases before, done a lot of research but anything in particular that you guys recommend to keep an eye on. Cheers

Crankcase seals/bearings part numbers

Measure your new bearing's carefully. Once upon a time I rebuilt the bottom end on a Suzuki. The bearing's went in just fine, but they were just a little thick & the cases would not quite go back together. Close, but no cigar. I had to do it over. I have always used factory bearings since.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

The Bearing part # is 6305C3 and the seal size is 25x40x6 Double lip ,you might also be able to get the seals in either Viton or silicone, they are rated for higher temps..
