Oil Injection Engine Braking?

I was just reading a topic on engine braking two stokes, I've always been one to pull the clutch in personally but what if the motorcycle has oil injection? my guess is that it doesn't make any difference because the oil injection system works in sync with the throttle opening and closing therefore doesn't inject oil when the throttle is closed, I could be wrong but that's just what I figured. Any ideas?

Cheers.

The oil pump still works when the throttle is closed albeit only slightly else the motor would possibly seize if left to idle for any length of time .
2 strokes don't burn all the oil as some is left in the crankcase hence some smoke on start up from cold ...you'd have to run down a very very very long road or hill with the throttle shut off to seize a 2 stroke ... Personally I've never seen it happen & ive run 2 strokes since a child .
