Weight of stock exhaust?
Can anyone tell me the weight of the stock exhaust? For the 2005 KDX 200. The exhaust chamber and the silencer.

The stock expansion pipe weighs almost exactly 8 pounds, + - an ounce or 2.

Re: Weight of stock exhaust?
This information is probably somewhere else on the forum here, but since NoBs replied to this thread recently... I replaced my '04 200 stock pipe/silencer yesterday with an FMF Gnarly Woods pipe and FMF TurbineCore 2. I was able to weigh the 3 of the 4 parts with a kitchen scale, which is more accurate, but only goes up to 6 lbs. Since the stock pipe is more than that, I had to use a regular scale. Here's what I found:
Stock
Pipe - 8 lbs, 0 oz
Silencer - 5 lbs, 9 oz
Total - 13 lbs, 9 oz
FMF
Pipe - 5 lbs, 1 oz
Silencer - 3 lbs, 0 oz
Total - 8 lbs, 1 oz
Stock
Pipe - 8 lbs, 0 oz
Silencer - 5 lbs, 9 oz
Total - 13 lbs, 9 oz
FMF
Pipe - 5 lbs, 1 oz
Silencer - 3 lbs, 0 oz
Total - 8 lbs, 1 oz
