Swingarm paint?

Post by Vossman »

04 KDX 200, is the OEM swingarm painted silver? Powdercoat maybe? I’d like to get the black scratches out, is that possible?

Paint code is CE, wheel gentry gray. Look on the parts diagrams. The last couple of letters or numbers on painted and some colored parts is the color code.

Swingarm paint?

I used VHT High Temp Brake Caliper paint. It is off from the factory color just a touch but you wouldn't notice if you have a green frame. It's pretty tough and requires you to bake it on.

Cerakote stainless is very close. And is lots more durable. I haven't done mine yet but I did do my 73 cb750 frame and they sit right right beside each other. That's what I'm doing this winter. you won't save any money though. You can bake it on or air dry? Just another option?
