ethylene glycol to clean gummed carb
Has anyone here heard of or tried boiling a carb in ethylene glycol to remove gunk?Read about it on the goldwing forums.

Ive seen a lot of people take an old crock pot with antifreeze and let it simmer a few says. Never tried it myself but heard it works awesome

I have used 50% diluted PineSol (Dettol in the UK) to very good effect. It does take any paint off.

I thought perhaps it would be a good way to clean power valves as well

Nobody has done this? I'm gonna have to try it. I don't think my wife will let me use the crock pot, but I have a camp stove and a pot.
