e transmission in h cases?

I have an E bottom end, and want to use it's output shaft for my rebuild of an H engine; transmission.

the part numbers match on bike bandit, so I'm assuming the transmissions are interchangable between e / h models?

time to split some cases!

Not all are the same, check every part on the parts diagram. Some are E only. Some are E + H. Some are C + E. Some are C, E + H. :hmm:

The parts may or may not work together, but all the numbers are not the same.

IF you are talking about only the output shaft (p/n 13128-1164) it is the same for all E, H and 220s. As for the rest of the transmission, what Jason said.

thanks guys. I'm going to split a couple engines tonight and compare. if the e model output shaft has splines prettier than my h's I'm going to swap them.

next up, e bottom end going cheap on eBay.

Not sure on the individual parts but I know you can swap the complete transmissions from one to the other.
