magura hydro clutch on kdx E series...having issues

Post by newbbewb »

does this look like the correct slave cylinder for the kdx? in order to check free play, i'd have to pull jug off. done a bunch of searching and not finding anything.

besides not being able to check free play, the clutch arm pulls the rod out of the slave all the way. I know theres no free play. i feel like my arm in pointing way too far back when it starts engaging. correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt worn out clutch have that arm moving towards front of bike?

asking before I tear the bike apart. anyone with experience on this?

magura hydro clutch on kdx E series...having issues

I have the Magura on my 220 & the actuator arm on mine doesn't extend out fully when installed....I believe the Magura for the kdx fits both E & H , also various KX models too so I guess they all fit slightly differently but all do the same thing the length of the arm just aids fitting for the above reasons .... Best to ride your bike & see how it feels , you may have to adjust the clutch lever to suit your style .
I love the hydraulic clutch on my kdx ,its featherlight .
