exhaust brass o ring

hello guys, I am replacing the stock ex with a woods fmf, is there a inside or outside direction to the brass o ring in front of the pipe? thanks

It's copper, and no it doesn't matter which way you put it in. A little grease on it will hold it in place while you install the pipe.
