Float bowl drain screw.

Post by Molly's 70 »

Dang it! I thought my 2003 KDX 220R had a fuel drain screw at the bottom of the bowl. I must have dreamed that.

I have owned to many bikes.

Can I purchase a new carburetor bowl w/ drain screw?

What do you guy's think?

The kdx only has a float bowl drain nut .... Not only does it drain the fuel from the bowl but it also allows you to swop out the main jet without having to remove the carb ...

If your kdx doesn't have this feature then someone must of swiped out the carb for another?

I mean the screw that some carb bowls have to drain the bowl. Drains into 1 of 3 tubes on a carb. Not the nut on the bottom of the bowl to change a main jet. Anyone seen this?

I have never seen it for the PWK. I know what you mean. My buddy's Yamahopper QT50 has one. SUPER handy.

Dang it, I was hoping there was a part number or a swap I could do. It sure would be a nice feature.
