Tire pressure issue
New front tire and tube. I put 13-15 psi and if the bike just sits the pressure will remain the same for well over a month, even checking it a few times a week. When I go riding it will lose about half its pressure. I usually ride at 7-9k feet, live at 6500 feet. I changed the valve core and made sure it was tight. Is it the change in altitude that causes this?

Re: Tire pressure issue
sea level=14.7psi
10,000ft= 10psi
more than likely you have a tiny leak that is worse with all the pushing/pulling of the tube that comes with riding. put it in a water tub and look for bubbles

Re: Tire pressure issue
And the pressure drop is pretty linear so, no, not likely the altitude.
