Paddle Tire

Post by tmmyghst »

Has anyone tried a paddle tire on their H series 200 ?
How many paddles ?
How did it run ?
A friend has been asking me to take my bike to the dunes, dont really want to but I can get a used paddle for 20 bucks. 8 paddles,Im sure I will need to shave the tire.
Thanks again

I think 8 would be to many. That is normally for 250 2 strokes or 450 4 strokes. I would look for a 6 if you could. There is a discussion on thumpertalk about it asking a similiar question.

I would be less worried about the tire and more concerned with having jets huge enough for wide open throttle all day long

I found a 10 paddle that was on a CR500,cut 5 of them off.
I'm going to run 50-50 race gas to pump gas.

With 5 paddles, I hope to get some wheelspin. If its too hard on the bike Ill park it and just listen to them call me a girlyman and puzzy. Its too much fun in the dirt to destroy in the sand.

I ran a CST Surge P C7220 8 lug on my 96 KDX 200 on packed snow trails and it worked ok, lots of wheel spin. I'm sure it would be ok in the sand.
