Hi guys. i raced the kdx 220 in my local club run today and the bike ran awesome. After the race the bike sat for an hour. i then went to ride back to my trailer and it wouldnt run very well. It would kick over but when i opened her up it would bog and sputter.. i took out the carb and there was milky residue on the throttle slide. i also cleaned the air filter. i cleaned the carb and put it all back. took for a spin but it did the same thing. then it fouled the plug. Does anyone know why this would happen?. Its also a super hot day today (33 degrees).

Since you said milky my first thought is coolant got into the cylinder and "back washed" into the carb. That usually comes with a lot of smoke out the tailpipe though. Weird

Milky residue sounds like water?

Did you wash the bike or ride through any water during the race ?

yes i washed the bike but it ran like it did before i washed it. No water during ride

Sure sounds like you got some water in there somehow.

Pop a new spark plug in & see if that helps?
